Strategy: Creating Weaknesses

What is a “weakness?” A weakness is a point in the enemy position that can be attacked. If it cannot be attacked, then it is not a true weakness. Just because a pawn is doubled, backward or isolated doesn’t in itself mean its weak, it's only weak if it can be attacked.
