Woohoo! Vienna Falkbeer Gambit
I have played the three gambits of the Vienna (Max Lange, Omaha, and Falkbeer) and main line for a few years. Before getting hooked playing high level bots, I had an almost 70% win rate. As I hit the 2000 level in Rapid and playing higher bots, I started studying various openings that I encounter mainly as black.
Today, I took another look using the analysis tool at the Vienna Game. In my notes, I had a comment under Falkbeer, "Brutal" exf4, but didn't complete the line. I studied that"Brutal" line and brilliant knight sacrifice(s). After several games, finally got the chance to play the Falkbeer Gambit. Wow.
