Captain's Log. Derek has once again beat me. Though he denies it, I had him in two moves. The pressure must of got to me as I blundered spectacularly to provide him with a queen swap that prevented any opportunity to castle shortside thereafter. His insolence will not be tolerated. Though he has struck my very spirit with his incessant victories, mine is laced with iron and the sparks of hatred. I will not fail this time. We have bet $5 on it.
