A recurring endgame trick

As a teenager my chess teacher showed me lots of chess games and examples.

One endgame type that impressed me a lot was :

The "bishop of the wrong color" and the pawn at the edge.

For example like this :

In a game today, I played against a strong player to whom I lost already 3 times in the past.

In this very game I thought I was going to lose again, but in the end I was lucky.

The well known wrong color bishop appeared !
