How to blunder a winning position

How to blunder a winning position

Jul 30, 2016, 4:32 AM 2

Just played a game with a longer time control than I normally play online and I encountered a guy playing what I guess is a variation of the Pirc. We played two games, and I am reasonably happy with my play in both of them. I won the first and lost the second after a big blunder. This is the second game, and I was quite intrigued to see if my opponents opening play (he played quite similarly with both colors) was one of the main lines in the Pirc or if it was an invention of his own.

Well, this was definitely a hard loss to swallow. But I have to take with me that I played reasonably good in the game, and that I should always look out for my opponents checks. But of course, I should have seen this coming.
