So, this week is a special one for a lot of people. Catholics and many protestants are looking forward to the end of lent, and hopefully remembering the reason they gave up a staple of their daily lives. We are taking a bit more care to be thankful of everything in our lives, and in general, hopefully being a bit more kind and patient with others.
That given, I hope all are taking the time to reflect on their lives, "soul searching" as I have recently read, and being thankful for the gifts we have been given. If you do not believe Jesus is the savior, then I still want you to be thankful for a blessed life. (Like our Pagan friends whom are celebrating a time of fertility and birth ) Because if you are reading this, you have a computer, electricity, a mind to enjoy chess (as you are on a chess website ) Hopefully you are not starving, you have a roof over your head, clothes to wear, and other basic needs are met.
Either way, I hope you all have a wonderful Easter! May the little ones find all the eggs, may the adolescents find happiness, and may the adults find a few extra smiles even through work, kids, bills, and any other obstacles in your lives.
