I tried a new line against the Bg5 variation. I played the solid Qc7 to prevent the e4-e5 pawn advance. We got a middlegame where he had better pawns, I got bishops and later he made a sacrifice to open up my position, but I was able to defend and win in the endgame by a passed pawn.
