Exchanging into a Bad Endgame: Rook before you Leap
I was playing White in the following Blitz game.
Here I played Rd2 on the general principle that Black's Rook was more active and I wanted to exchange it.
This loses immediately as I failed to see the pawn endgame is lost for White.
Can you find why?
Black is able to create an outside passed h-pawn.
