When a 400 unleashes brilliancy...

Shout out to @EagerDances for creating this game which could have taken years off my life.

-----------------------------------------------Beginning----------------------------------------------

It was school break, and my friend @EagerDances was just playing some unrated blitz. I was watching him playing, and then chess.com matched him against a random 1200. Also I didn't gave my friend any advice in the game, except the endgame which he had only 16 seconds on the clock. Also it was unrated so it doesn't matter that much. But don't report me to chess.com plz ;-;

-----------------------------------------------The game-----------------------------------------------

The game starts with a really interesting opening, as my friend played the move f4 out of no where. It is completely fine according the the engine, but it is still a really interesting move.

My friend just casually developed his pieces, meanwhile the opponent is playing double Fianchetto. Normally the engine will say black is a bit worse because black is so passive, but in this case. Since white didn't take as much space as possible, and is playing way too solidly, the position is equal.

d6 was an inaccuracy by black. It was better to play more actively with the move d5. But black is not lost, yet...

Be3 is a mistake. And the reason is that d5 hits the bishop, and threatens a pawn fork after the move d4. But in some miracle, after d5, black can't play d4 right away to fork the bishop on e3 and the c3 knight, and the reason is really hidden in the position.

And of course, that didn't happen in the game. In the game, black played the move O-O, and yet is still better lol

White played O-O-O, just getting the king out of the center. And the move d5 still doesn't work because of the queen will be hitting the knight on e7 after the bishop trades itself on d4. I don't know if my friend saw that, but black didn't play d5. And played Nd7. White then played Bd4, going for a trade. Black played the move e5 to block the bishop on d4, but now white is better. Well, not after Be3.

Black played a6, which is just a really bad move because of fxe5. But of course that doesn't happen. My friend, played the move d4. And the evaluation went from +1 to -0.4. Black played b5, attacking the bishop. And here, my friend blundered. He played the move, Bd5. The move Bd5 is losing because after Nxd5, Nxd5 and c6. Too much pressure on the white position. And white can't stop the queenside attack.

But in the game, black made a huge blunder by playing the move c6. It loses to one move and one move only, try to find the move my friend played in the game.

The move is the brilliant bishop sacrifice, Bxf7+. Chess.com's analysis is saying this is a brilliant move, and it is. The point is that after Rxf7, white plays the only winning move dxe5. fxe5 is a mistake because the d file is not open for the rook. And in the future white can't play Rxd6. All of that happened in the game. Yeah, a 400 played Bxf7 in a blitz game...

Black played the move d5 for absolutely no reason. And white played the move e6, forking the rook and the knight. I actually didn't gave my friend any sort of advices so far in the game. I won't see Bxf7+ in a million year, and my friend played it in 10 seconds...

Black retreats the rook to f8, and white captured on d7, then recaptured the c3 knight after Bxc3. But after Qxd7, white played Ne5, which throws away a bit of advantages. But the position is still +1.5.

Black played Qe6, getting the queen out of danger. And white throws away all the advantage with the move Bf5, just blundering the f4 pawn completely. And black didn't take it. Instead, captured the d4 pawn.

White's position is wonderful, and the evaluation is +4! But after Rfe8, my man, played the move Bxe7. Sending the position from +4 to +1.5. White just traded off the god tier bishop for absolutely no reason. And after Rxe7, white played Kb2, guarding the h2 pawn.

Black casually played c5, attacking the queen. My friend played Qe3, sliding the queen out of the sight of the bishop. And after Bxg2 Rhg1 Bb7, white picks up the f5 pawn, and now is +3.8. Black played Rc8, attacking the queen. And here, for some reason, my friend, has 6 safe queen moves, and played the only one to throw away all the advantage. The move, Qa7. It throws because after Bf3, white will have to play Rd7, and then trade queen with black. White is up a pawn, but they are doubled. And the endgame is equal.

Black of course misses that, and played Bd5. Sending the game back to +4. White played top engine move Qd4, black takes on a2. And here, white has a lot of moves to win. But when my friend was playing the game, I was like: "Hmm, I think Nd7 to play Nf6+ will win us the game.". But Nd7 throws away all the advantage because of Qc4, forcing a queen trade(or else black breaks through). And of course black didn't saw that and played Bc4 lol

The the moment of the game where blacked played Bc4, my friend had 17 seconds on the clock, and was like: "Ay bro, can you help me win this position?" And I was like: "Sure, why not lol". And after Nf6+ Kf8, I played Nxh7, and of course, my opponent blundered Ng4+ forking the queen and the king. The rest of the game is basically me trying to not get flagged.

After an intense montage of me premoving on the IPad we have for school, I flagged my opponent, with 2,2 seconds remaining on the clock.

--------------------------------------------------Sum--------------------------------------------------

It was quite an intense game. I was nearly spitting blood out when my friend played Bxf7, but it ended up being genius. I helped my guy @EagerDances winning the endgame but the game is unrated. So I guess it doesn't matter that much? Plz don't report me to chess.com for this ;-;

btw the time control is 3+0, not even 5+0 -_-
