The famous 1.e4 has come to many games online and over-the-board and many openings come with it. Such as, Italian Game, Giuoco Piano Game, Scotch Game, Vienna Game, Bishop's Opening, Ruy Lopez and many more openings for white with 1.e4 and I will also give you openings for black as well in the 1.e4 Repertoire. I will show you a demonstration of how 1.e4 changes the board.

As you can see, it changes the board by not allowing Black to play f5 and d5 and helps White to develop for future purposes. As we get to the Repertoire, here is the Table of Contents.

Table of Contents

-Italian Game

-Fried Liver Attack

-Ruy Lopez Opening

-Scotch Game

-Giuoco Piano Game

Black's Opening

-Pirc Defense

White Openings

Chapter 1: Italian Game

The Italian Game is an opening that releases your Knight and Bishop out early and attacks the weakness of the f7 pawn. The main idea of this opening is to prepare your pieces and take control of the center. The moves are: 1. e4 1... e5 2. Nf3 2... Nc6 3. Bc5. I hope you get the idea since this opening is very common and easy to play. There are now lines but sometimes, they have lines.

Chapter 2: Fried Liver Attack

I recited the 8 moves of the opening and it's very easy to learn. The point of this opening is to sacrifice the Knight to give a check and win back a Knight. But there is one line that work for Black...

After Ke6, you have to take the advantage about the pin of the Knight between the King. So, you have to pressurize it by playing Nc3, the best move and continue to strive until victory. Until, the Traxler Counterattack jumps on the party. Watch it here.
Chapter 3: Ruy Lopez Opening

This is the Ruy Lopez Opening, which is the most popular opening starting with 1.e4 and this is Magnus Carlsen's favorite opening. Magnus Carlsen is the best chess player in the world currently. The main point is to attack the Knight and there are many variations for this opening. There are many traps, so be careful. Learn more.

Chapter 4: Scotch Game

The opening is all about taking control of the center and trading your pieces for an advantage. This is an aggressive opening for White. Black can easily play Bc5 to attack the Knight and I recommend playing c3.

Chapter 5: Giuoco Piano Game

The Giuoco Piano Game is about to control the center and dominate the Black pieces and this is my favorite follow-up line after Bc5. This is like the Italian Game but you control the center.

Black Openings

Chapter 1: Sicilian Defense

The Sicilian Defense is about to control the d4 square. There are many lines but you can learn them here. Click me!

Chapter 2: Scandinavian Defense

The whole point of the Scandinavian Defense is to centralize your Queen but I dont recommend this opening since the Queen can be attacked and you'll lose tempos.

Chapter 3: Pirc Defense

The point of this opening is to play the King's Indian Defense and it will give scope for the Bishop and to castle very early.

Thank you for reading! Have a good day!
