Finally! A tournament where I achieved a winning record. 3-2. I beat two players rated 400 points higher than me, and I also received the U1200 prize. In round 3, Duane Herrera and I both agreed I could've won that one, but I missed some key opportunties (such as forking the knight and rook with my bishop). In the end game, I allowed my king to get trapped -- and so it goes.

My wins in rounds 2, 4, and 5 were marked by some aggressive moves (albeit not always "sound"), but by maintaining initiative, I was able to force my way into winning positions.

Here are my games. Let me know what you think. Any further analysis would be greatly appreciated.

UPDATE: My USCF rating also went from 1029 to 1211.
