I've been playing chess wrongly all this while

  Growing up, I always thought that chess was a game to kill the king on the opposite end.  And I pretty much sucked at it.  I've always got beaten by my brothers, who pretty much had the plans and all ready.  Where as for me, I just move the pieces where it deem fit.  After a while I got upset about the whole thing and decided not to play chess anymore.

  Few years after that, I was introduced to play Chinese Chess instead.  Again, I never knew any proper strategy or whatsoever.  But somehow it appealed to me more, and I've always been told that if I made a bad move I would be behind by 2 steps.  And I need to anticipate 5-6 steps ahead before making my move.  Long story short, I didn't get far and ended up just playing casually in regardless if I win or lose.

  So after watching Pawn Sacrifice, I began to develop an interests back in Chess.  And only to realize that there's actually proper opening moves followed by series of attacks and counter attacks.  And all my life, I've been living under a coconut shell to find out how interesting Chess is.  So after watching some videos on YouTube regarding opening moves made my popular players in the chess world, I've decided to create an account here on Chess.Com and play my first game.  Started out with the London system only to find out that I've made some bad moves as well, but managed to win in the end.

  After playing for 6 games, I realized I need to relearn everything once more considering that at my age I think it's a little bit too late.  Never the less, I'll prolly enjoy playing this beautiful game of chess.
