I learned a valuable lesson last night. Never try to play a round of chess when you have the flu! Thanks to my lovely girlfriend, I have contracted a lovely flu bug which has kept me in bed for the last few days, I was feeling a little better yesterday so instead of taking a half point bye like a sane person, I decided to play my game. My opponent and I played a pretty miserable draw, after the game he told me he had prepared an "anti-catalan" line (1.b6)  against me because he had seen my game against Mr. Ortiz from a couple of weeks ago. I've never had anyone prepare an opening against me before, it's kind of an odd feeling. My opponent seemed to think the way I played against it was probably best, but I have some ideas for next time someone springs that move on me which I think will lead to a more interesting game.
