Southern Congress Chess U2200
Here are my games from the 2016 Southern Chess Congress U2200 section:
Round 1
My opponent eventually ended up flagging
Round 2
The open C-file, the active bishops combined with white's weak pawn gave me enough companciation for the e7 pawn. I ended up winning a piece and won the game from there.
Round 3
This was a funny game. Both my opponent and I were in time pressure from move 25 till move 40. Even though the position was repeated 3 times, neither of us claimed the draw. In the end, I broke through on the king side.
Round 4
The game that cost me 1000$!!! I missed played the opening, but my opponent proposed a repition. I took a huge risk to decline the repetion and it cost me! In addition to the 1 K, the game also cost me 20 rating points!
Round 5
The classic power of the minority attack! I felt like my opponet's resignition was premature.
