what i find curious is that Dr. Ryan finally climbs the sand dune, and he takes / posts a picture of his accomplishment with his dog, Jill, overlooking the general vicinity of the fatal accident that would claim his life mere minutes later.

i wonder, i got a funny feeling as i type this, if something within Dr. Ryan knew the end was near, and prompted him to finally, after 25-years, act on his instincts to climb that sand dune.

how about this thought, maybe if Dr. Ryan wouldn't of climbed the sand dune on that fateful day, maybe he'd still be alive? life's funny that way. Undecided

UPDATE 9/16  :  Dr. Ryan's dog, Jill, survived the crash with eye and paw injuries. The Border Collie was transported to a pet emergency facility by the California Highway Patrol.

Dr. Ryan's jeep plunged off the Pacific Coast Highway at Deer Creek Road, in Ventura County, around 4:30 pm. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Jill was eventually released and received a clean bill of health from her personal vet. She has returned to Dr. Ryan's personal ranch residence.
