ok...so what is Blue Moon...and why should I care?!

???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

A blue moon is TWO full moons in one month.  It doesn't happen very often (thus the saying, once in a blue moon)...on average only once every 2.7 years.  And the next one won't be until 2015.

And what does it mean to you?  Well...unless if you're the Wolfman, you may not even notice.

But if you like wearing your sunglasses at night...this is your chance!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Really Strange, though, that it happens within a week of Neil Armstrong's death.  After all...he WAS the first man on the moon...back in the summer of '69.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Another question would be, when seen from the surface of the moon, is EVERY night a Blue Earth?  Now THAT would be a sight to behold!

And although I don't work for NASA...I will hazzard a guess and say "YES".

So...as mere Earthlings, we have to settle for a Blue Moon once every 2.7 years...while the creatures of the Moon (anybody see the movie Apollo 18?) get to enjoy a Blue Earth every night.

What lunacy!
