Life keeps going :)
I am down to 4 online games going at once. One of those is with my wife, Crystal. For her game, we have 14 days per move, so that our game is very unlikely to time out :) Another one just started, and I have two that have been going on for quite some time. Ekwell (sp?) gave me a much tougher match than I was expecting, but I am ahead on points and I think I will soon have my queen, and might win. He is doing a very good job though. My game with Barer is still up in the air, but I have a good feeling. We'll just have to see.
It is interesting playing with kids. I often am pondering a move with a little boy or girl on my lap. My 3-year old son is very good at telling me what moves I should make lol, though usually they are illegal! It is all fun. I'm going to pick up a chess clock soon. My eldest daughter likes chess (she's 11), and I think she'll really enjoy playing the game as we go forward. I don't have any chess masters or anything in my family, and the only person in my family that has played in tournaments is my brother James, back in high school. I don't think I'll ever be up to that level of play, but chess is just a fun thing for me. I don't take it too seriously. Still, a win is a lot of fun :)
