Great Falls Chinook - Round 3

Oct 16, 2017, 11:41 AM 0

In Round 3 I faced an expert (rating 2000 - 2199) from Illinois who was traveling with his Class-B buddy (rating 1600 - 1799). They are on a quest to play in all 50 states, and they appeared unimpressed with us Montana players, none of whom are experts. Though the expert mowed everyone else down, I stopped him by getting him to offer a draw, which I accepted. This was a thorny positional struggle that was just starting to thaw out, and I had some attacking chances but decided that a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.
