The 2016 Montana Open was rewarding, as I got my head screwed on straight and played some halfway decent chess for a change. With three wins, two draws, and no losses, I did well enough to nab second place, secure a spot in the Montana Closed, and rejoin the ranks of Class A players.

This first round against Ted Baker was interesting and helped me loosen up for the later rounds.
