I found a cache of old chess games on the internet. The openings are interesting enough for a second look. Game #5

Chess Arena 3.0 calls this opening B07 Pirc 3.Nbd2 g6. I call it an ugly mess. 1.e4 b6 2.d4 Bb7 3.Nd2 e6 4.Bd3 Nf6 5.Qe2 d6 6.Nf1 a6 7.f4 Nbd7 8.Ng3 g6
9.Nh3 c5 10.c3 h5 11.Ng5 h4 12.Nf1 Qc7 and here 13.Ne3 is too generous. White must punish Black for his awkweirdness by playing 13.d5! Black can try to hold on with 13...e5 14. Be3 Nh5 15.fxe5 but White has the advantage.
