Legendary!
Generally speaking, I haven’t made much progress since May. I’ve added a few countries to my passport, I’ve made strides toward the “Megaphone” achievement, and I’ve wasted a bit of time on bullet.
Today, however, I FINALLY made it to the Legend League, which feels like an accomplishment.
I seem to have been assigned to a relatively unambitious group this week - as opposed to some inordinate amount of trophies, I only needed a shade under 300 (and achieved a shade over).
Once I realized I was in contention, I spent several hours in 1|0 bullet tournaments. My bullet rating tanked, but it doesn’t matter. I achieved what I set out to achieve.
I feel I’m nearly ready to rejoin chess.com’s paying membership, to study again and to continue my string of success against the Master-level bots.
I may try to pull my bullet rating back up to the 1600s, but my main goal would be to get my daily rating to 2000+. You’ll know I’m truly taking things seriously if you see me active at rapid time controls again.
All the best in your own chess journey.
