Tournament Report: MVP Chess K-12 Quads | April 2026 | Alexandria, VA, USA
On April 18, 2026, the MVP Chess K-12 Quads were held at Stratford Landing Elementary School after a last-minute venue change due to circumstances outside our control. Despite the adjustment, 18 players from Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia attended, demonstrating the strength and resilience of our growing chess community.
The event used a three-round G/25 d5 quad format, providing competitive games for both experienced players and those competing in their first tournament.
