When I started chess a couple months ago I had a couple games going and it was under control.  A month or so later, I am a member, I discover the tactical trainer, I analyze my games, I have 25+ games going and my mind is frying.  The games all started to blend together.  In one 5 minute period I lost 3 or 4 queens.   My brain was crispy.  I sensed the fry and I slowed down...

It took a little bit but I think all the knowledge I consumed during my chess feeding frenzy is now starting to process.   Games look different and maybe my moves will have improved...

Knowing when to hold back....   is not only important on the chess board....
