All India Chess Federation(AICF) in reply to Shrikant Barve legal notice asking for constituion and bye laws of AICF has said that "
This is to inform you that AICF is not notified as Public Authority. This being the legal status of AICF, you cannot seek AICF to furnish the information and documents concerning its internal affairs."


AICF has suspended Shrikant Barve from Chess Activity from March 27. Notice received by Barve on May 19. Barve replied asking for constitution on very next day May 20. Barve send legal notice cum reminder on June 26. Barve received Life Ban notice from AICF July 21 on his 48th birthday. as also this letter.
