How dangerous is GM Schulman?

  1. Nakamura vs Schulman, 2010 - last year's US Chess Championship. GM Nakamura was hesitant to trade his queen and instead of 23.Qf6, moved 23.Rh2. Schulman knew that white made a fatal move and capitalized on it. I could not see why at first but Schulman is very perceptive and could not miss an opportunity that many of us would probably just waste. A simple mistake by the then defending champion Nakamura but punished severely by Schulman.

2. Schulman vs Marciano, 1997

Look at 19.Nd5, it took me a minute before realizing why black should not take it.
