SuperNationals IV - April 2009, Nashville

I got back from Nashville. It was really fun! The Opryland resort was very big - and there were over five thousand kids there. My dad made me meet Alexandra Kosteniuk - she's nice and she signed her book and we took a picture with her.

Very, very fun overall. It was good to met other kids (girls) that loved chess as much as I do.

A huge thank you to all those who supported this trip. It's great to be a part of a chess-loving community.

I won 3 out of 7 games. Here's a few:

Round 1 against an 1800 - went from OK to bad to OK and then real bad at the end - so close!

Round 6 - My closest rated opponent. Everybody was either a few hundred points above or below besides this guy who was 100 points below. I was hoping to win one against someone higher rated but it was not to be.

Round 7 - The final match. It would have been nice to have this win but a pretty good game, a few inaccuracies on my part.
