A Strong Finish!
Last game ever in the Shore High School Chess League. In the first game, I lost to a national master and in the second, I beat an unrated guy. Pretty much anyone rated between 800 and 2300 could expect the same results. But this was a true test. The opponent was 1850, 300 points above mine. I had gotten quite a few draws against 1800s in the past two weeks, so I knew I had a shot. The fact that it was the top board against our high school's rival school in my final game in the Shore League also added to the epicness. Which made me all the more proud of the result.
