Openings for Development SUMMARY/What You Need to Remember

Here is a summary of what you need to try to remember:

 
WHITE
1.e4 e5 (King's Gambit)
1.e4 e5 2.f4 exf4 3.Nf3 g5 4.Bc4 (4.Nc3) g4 5.0-0 and remember that you need to attack Black's Queen and open lines for our pieces which are ready for action whilst black's are sleeping.
 
 
1.e4 c5 (Sicilian)
1.e4 c5 2.d4 cxd4 3.c3 dxc3 4.Nxc3 and remember that white should put his rooks on c1 and d1 and his Queen on e2 and Bishops c4 and f4 (and castle of course)
 
1.e4 e6 (French)
 
1.e4 e6 2.d4 d5 3.exd5 exd5 4.Be3 and remember that white is going to play Qd2 and Nc3 and 0-0-0 and push his kingside pawns and attack!
 
 
Everything else : put pawns in the middle and castle and develop!
 
Black
 
1.e4 we play e5
 
Ruy Lopez:Marshall Gambit/Marshall Attack
 
1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.Bb5 Ruy Lopez a6 Morphy Variation 4.Ba4 (4.Bxc6 dxc6 5.Nxe5? Qd4!) Nf6 5.0-0 Be7 6.Re1 (now white is threatening to take the knight then e5 because he is defending e4) b5! 7.Bb3 0-0 8.c3 d5!? Marshall gambit, played because white blocks the b1 knight with c3 
 
 
Italian Game:Two Knights
1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.Bc4 Italian Game Nf6 4.Ng5 d5 5.exd5 Na5 (Bc5!?) 6.Bb5+ c6 7.dxc6 bxc6 and we push white's pieces back and castle and develop fast
 
also remember : 1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.Bc4 Nf6 4.Nc3?! Nxe4! because of the fork
 
 
King's Gambit: Falkbeer Counter gambit
 
1.e4 e5 2.f4 d5!? Falkbeer Counter Gambit 3.exf4 e4!? and develop fast and white should get rid of our pawn on e4 as fast as possible or he has problems.
 
 
Scotch Variation
 
1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.d4 The Scotch exd4 4.Nxd4 Bb4+ (to make the b1 Knight unhappy) 5.c3 Bc5 6.Be3 Bb6 (white was threatening Nxc6 winning a bishop)
 
and watch out for ideas of playing d5 then Nxe4 after you have castled. For once you are not down a pawn for development!
 
1.d4: Benko Gambit
 
1.d4 Nf6 2.c4 c5 3.d5 b5!? Benko gambit 4.cxb5 a6! 5.bxa6 g6! bishop will be awesome on g7 and now just remember the set up with Knights on d7 and f6, Queen on a5, Rooks on our awesome open files (a8 and b8), Bishop on g7 and castle kingside. This is the main set up that happens, but not always so make sure and think for yourself in the game. Also remember : Trade PIECES is OK,BUT NOT ROOKS . (Our rooks are awesome)
