When an attack goes wrong - recap of my loss to Jeff Gallegos
I blogged about my 3 wins in a Friday night tournament at the Las Vegas Chess Center in my previous blog posts. In the last round of the tournament, I was facing National Master Jeff Gallegos. I had 3 points out of 3 and Jeff had 2.5. I could have played a solid chess with no risk but I decided to play the most aggressive way possible. I wanted to win this game. Unfortunately, my attacking play did not work out in this game. Below, I look at what went wrong and try to learn from my mistakes.
