Today`s game shows another queen sac just like the Hamppe-Meitner game. The victor trades his queen for 2 minor pieces and a promising postion. Here is the game and they played another game in the same year. In the other game, La Bourdonnais shows that pawns can overhelm the major pieces.( He had 3 connected passed pawns on the 7th rank vs rook and queen in the area)
