Today as i came home from work i noticed the tree in my front yard was blossoming so much it reminded me of a sky full of celebrations at 4th of July! It seemed so lovely to me that I knew i had to take a pic and post it! Joyce Kilmers poem "Trees" seemed a wonderful fit. Hope everyone who may be reading this blog gains a smile and a bit of beauty in their heart. If not, your punisment is in Autumn you have to rake up the leaves, you crank!
by Joyce Kilmer
I think that I shall never see
A poem lovely as a tree.
A tree whose hungry mouth is prest
Against the earth’s sweet flowing breast;
A tree that looks at God all day,
And lifts her leafy arms to pray;
A tree that may in Summer wear
A nest of robins in her hair;
Upon whose bosom snow has lain;
Who intimately lives with rain.
Poems are made by fools like me,
But only God can make a tree.
