My daughter made friends with a girl whose father is a great person and Chess coach. I had an interest in Chess as a youth but over the past two years have gotten to where i play daily, participate in local and regional tournaments. My two biggest friends on chess.com have average rating of about 1650. They have been a big help to me learning the game but I am 4-66 against them so they are primarily responsible for about 1/3 of all my losses.
