My name is Frederick Larner Sugden, I am 15 years old and I live in a small town in Devon, England.
I have a BCF Longplay grade of 114 and a Rapidplay grade of 137. I try and play as much as possible in OTB tournaments and play in rather a lot of Congresses and Junior tournaments. I play for Newton Abbot CC, Torquay Boys' Grammar School and Devon U16s. My favourite player of all time is Bobby Fischer due to his great attacking style but I also like players such as Tal, Morphy and Marshall.
I currently attend Torquay Boys' Grammar School and am in Year 11, my GCSE year. Apart from chess, my main hobbies include Tennis, Basketball, Cricket, Rugby, Rowing and Clarinet.
I should be increasing my rating at a pretty rapid rate so watch out! As you can see from my username, you better be a good defender!
