Hi, this is an article on the Elephant trap in the Queen's Gambit Declined. Lets get straight into the trap now!
It is a deadly trap, which appears to be very strong after cxd5, but in fact white should've thought more carefully and saw that black had Bb4+.
Thanks for reading and have fun!
cool - nice trick
(Beginner) very good ; i play it but i havent see that fact. ty
is truely a nice trick, i'll definately give it a try
I don't see how white has the advantage.....
white has 2 rook, knight and bishop and 7 pawns;
black has 2rook,2 knights, a Bishop & 6 pawns
Hello everyone! I just uploaded a video with full explanation on this trap. I will really appreciate it if you check it out and tell me what you think. https://youtu.be/kcui2R_A7Y8 thanks!
