Recently it was the 30th anniversary of Silence of the Lambs, which won five Oscars in 1992, for Best Film as well as Best Actor Anthony Hopkins (also won a BAFTA), Best Actress Jodie Foster (also won a BAFTA & Golden Globe), Best Director Jonathan Demme, and Best Adapted Screenplay based as it was on the novels of Thomas Harris. The story of a young FBI candidate from a poor background being directed to seek the help of an incarcerated and manipulative serial killer – Hannibal Lecter – to catch another – Buffalo Bill – attracted the public in great numbers and led to a successful TV series – Hannibal 2013-15 starring Mads Mikkelsen and Hugh Dancy. The film used multiple locations, including:- Old Allegheny County Jail + Soldiers and Sailors Museum & Memorial + Carnegie Museum of Natural History + International Airport, Pittsburgh & Pittsburgh itself. We believe the film is worthy of a match in its honour and hope you will accept. If the number or ratings do not suit, then please make contact.
