Tournament Maker:Definition: makes/creates tournaments (Swiss's, Arenas, etc) OCCUPANTS: Vote Chess Match Creator Definition: Make approximately 10 Vote Chess matches per day *WARNING: The most VC open seeks you can have at a time is 5, so you'll need to wait before you make 5 more! You will also need to wait, because other people with this job need to create matches too!* OCCUPANTS: Daily Match Creator Definition: Same thing as VC, except the limit is 10, so you don't have to wait. OCCUPANTS: Forum/ Activity Creator Definition: Creates fun forums and engaging activities to make this club more whimsical! OCCUPANTS: Welcomer Definition: Welcomes new members (simple as that!) OCCUPANTS: Activity Monitor Definition: Makes sure this club stays active, and writes in notes OCCUPANTS: Police Definition: Makes sure all rules of the club are being followed.  Punishes any wrongdoing. Vote Chess Rules _____________________________ Hello everyone! As the club grows, activity will rise and people will seek club events. We must stay organized and straight foward if we want to win. If you plan on participating in the club vote chess matches, please take the time to read the following rules.  Use the following link to better understand penalty, member roles, and abbreviations. Use the following link to better understand club rules and how to behave. Participation I absolutely BEG that you play the entire match if you join one. Don’t join a match if you don’t play to be active in it. Plain and simple as that. Communication PLEASE DO NOT VOTE WITHOUT TALKING TO OTHERS. It kills me when people don’t communicate with others and vote accidental mistakes. Don’t vote for a draw if the game isn’t drawn / it’s still the middle game. Never vote for resignation! We will play until we have won or we are checkmated. Listen to higher rated people. They probably know best. (I also have to do this!) Don’t vote until a Super Admin or I have decided to make a vote call. EXCEPT when a certain move is obvious. (Eg. Checkmate / recapture) Theory/Opening Stage If we are white, we will either always play e4 or d4. If we are black and our opponent plays e4/d4, we will respond with e5 or d5. The Italian Game / Ruy Lopez / London System are setups / openings we should try to go for. We want to make vote chess to go as smoothly as possible, so try to follow these rules as best as you can. C’mon, it’s literal common sense.  Breaking this rule results in the following punishment: 1. Permanent Exclosure (Ban) + Chess.com Report Respect & Sportsmanship Please don’t cuss someone out because you hung your queen on move six. This is for the better of your opponent and yourself.  Breaking this rule results in the following punishment: 1. Temporary Mute (3D) 2. Permanent Mute + Temporary Exclosure (Ban) (3D) 3. Permanent Exclosure + Chess.com Report End a game saying “Good game” or “well played”. I mean, I guess you don’t have to, but it’s still a kind gesture. Permanent Mute + Temporary Exclosure (Ban) (1W) Advertisement  Advertisement is okay as a one-time thing but please keep it chess related and don’t break the limit.  Breaking this rule results in the following punishment: 1. Permanent Mute + Temporary Exclosure (Ban) (1W) Commenting on your advertisement forum to list it at the top of forums is strictly prohibited. Breaking this rule results in the following punishment: 1. Temporary Mute (1D) 2. Temporary Mute (3D) + Temporary Exclosure (Ban) (1D) 3. Permanent Mute + Temporary Exclosure (Ban) (1W) Miscellaneous Any form of communication (except announcements) is allowed for anybody to use. However, spamming and advertising excessively is strictly prohibited. (Announcements are only allowed for super admins. Admins must use permission from an SAD if they want to post an announcement.) Abuse of position is an extreme violation and will result in a three day to a permanent ban ( as well as demotion) depending on what you have abused in your position. Being a higher role in the club does not place you above the club law and order. Improtant Notes Breaking club rules are serious offenses and will not be dealt with lightly. If you break a rule, you are subject to the first punishment stage. This is a warning. If you break a rule twice, you are subject to the second punishment stage. This is a reminder. If you break a rule three times, you are subject to the third stage of punishment. This is discipline and a penalty. BREAKING DIFFERENT RULES STACK. For example, I break one rule, then another, and then another one. I am subject to the three stages of all three rules. My mute time and temporary ban time is added up and is immediately in effect. You could always apologize, PUBLICLY, explaining what you did and why you should be let back into the club, to reduce a temporary ban or undo a perma-ban. However, this is a one time opportunity as we will not tolerate abuse. Please do your absolute best to follow these rules as we want this club to be as clean as possible while being a good place to have fun and get better without trouble occurring. After careful consideration, this club WILL NOT Be terminated. @Anthony2025a will take over as owner in this club.  And for me? Well, I'll be sticking around sometimes, but it's time for me to give this club to new hands.

As some of you MAY have noticed, I haven't been active on chess.com in around 2 weeks, reason? Well Number 1 is mainly school, that's taken a toll, but a MAJOR reason is because I've started to take more interest in OTB chess games, And for the FUTURE of this club? Well I have now realized that no one will have the same passion even if they become owner once the original owner is inactive. This club will be terminated on April 18th.

Currently, I do not have enough time to manage this club on chess.com. Either this club will remain dead, a new owner will step up, or I will permanently delete this club while giving a link to a discord server for a contact.

One member has been promoted to Super Admin, they will have 1-3 weeks to see how they interact with the club. IF they do a good job, they are new owner, if not, a new one will have a chance.
