1. Fair Play & IntegrityWe have a zero-tolerance policy for cheating.
Engine Use: The use of chess engines (Stockfish, Komodo, etc.), opening databases, or external assistance during live games is strictly prohibited.Fair Play Violations: Any member flagged by Chess.com for Fair Play violations will be summarily removed from the club.Sandbagging: Intentionally losing games to lower your rating is considered unsportsmanlike and is not permitted.2. Communication & EtiquetteMaintain the "Schizzarotto" standard of respect in all forums and chat rooms.
Be Civil: No insults, harassment, or hate speech. We celebrate diversity in our global membership.No Spamming: Avoid flooding the club chat with repetitive messages, advertisements for other clubs, or irrelevant links.Trolling: Provoking members or staff will result in a warning, followed by a ban if the behavior continues.3. Tournament & Match ParticipationThe strength of our club lies in its activity.
Commitment: If you join a Daily Match or a Team Match, you are expected to see it through. Abandoning games hurts the club’s overall standing.Time Management: Ensure you have the bandwidth to manage your move times in Daily Chess to avoid losses by timeout.4. Leadership & ModerationAdmin Discretion: Club Admins and Super Admins have the final say in dispute resolutions.Promotion: Leadership roles are earned through activity, helpfulness, and loyalty to the club. Please do not "ask" for Admin status. Note to Members: We are here to improve our game and enjoy the art of chess. Let your moves do the talking.Member SanctionsFirst Offense: Formal Warning.Second Offense: Temporary Mute/Kick.Third Offense: Permanent Ban and reporting to Chess.com Support.
