The dice is temporary till I finish the guard's body.

This is a lot of work. Maybe I should learn some 3D software like balashukla0761 is doing.meh.png

You don't have to, carving and crafting is always appreciated!

yup, i mean stuff like the zombie should be made in a 3D platform, or the Harpy. or even the hawk.

What 3d platform do you use balashukla??

Ok, here they both are. The guard is a little bigger than I think it should be, but overall I'm happy. I'm going to take a break from this cutting and carving, but later I hope to make them in Black too.happy.png

I used 3D Paint for the Guards but I also really like Tinkercad

Try out Blender, it is what me and my friend use, it is a profdesional free program, it os 10x better than 3D paint

Thanks, when the CAD guys find a 3D printer they're going to be able to make lots of plastic ones. But my wood pieces are "very rare". Sorry, they're not for sale.tongue.png

when, 400 years from now, someone's gonna find them, they're gonna be really confused

If i start 3D printing them will you guys buy them??? With the boards??

Avatar of vickalan

Do you already have 3D models for all the pieces (normal pieces + witch + guard)?

Does the resin for a 3D printer cost a lot of money, and if you print an entire set how much will you sell if for?

I've been considering casting pieces. 3D printing is expensive, as best I can tell. The material starts at around $20 a kilo, and can be a lot more for certain materials, so if you want a nice heavy set, it will cost. The beauty of casting resin rather than 3D printing it is that you can have an outer shell of pure resin, and an interior of resin plus a cheap filler, perhaps sand, thus bringing down the costs and making it more affordable.

Good quality boards won't come cheap, either. It would take quite a lot of work to do it right. I'd be more inclined to buy a set of pieces and make my own board.

If everyone can send me their 3D Bulldog Piece Models, i can make some, and make the board,... I can offer my friend he has one, if he would let me use it and i can pay him for the material. Or i could print it almost for free at the library.
