Haha. ^_^ Good one BJ.
A lot of times we look around hoping to see God's miracle and blessings. We do it by faith.
But more often than not, we get disappointed.
Why?
Because we always regard miracles and blessings as something VERY HUGE and dramatic, like this man, not getting wet but not using the umbrella.
^_^
In Luke 17: 6 " He replied, "If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, 'Be uprooted and planted in the sea,' and it will obey you. "
Miracles and blessings of life are always with us. They are new every morning. It actually takes just an amount of faith as small as a mustard seed to notice these "small" miracles and blessings of life which we usually disregard, either because
WE LOOK IN PLACES WHERE THEY ARE NOT WHEN THEY ARE ALREADY IN US
OR A FAITH EVEN AS SMALL AS A MUSTARD SEED IS ACTUALLY HARD TO HAVE. ^_^
Choose.
another story I felt inspired to write.
A man was preparing to go outside in the rain to get some work done. He turned to his friend and said that he hoped he wouldn't get too wet. Then, his his friend said to him that the LORD would keep him dry, and left. Inspired by this, the man put down his umbrella and went outside into the pouring rain. 7 minutes later he returned and said to his friend, "I thought you said the LORD would keep me dry. But now I am all wet!"
Then his friend simply said to him,"The LORD gave you an umbrella."
