Fr bro
Anime sequels that are extraordinarily disappointing
Can't believe they are making another season
I have 0 expectations for Two Blue Vortex, when they can't even properly use grammar 💀
Chihayafuru 2 and 3 —> Such unnecessary sequels even they don't reach at the end of the manga.
Clannad: After Story —> How to create a bad anime? Create an horrible ending.
Dragon Ball Super —> Same problem with Clannad xD
Dragon Ball: Episode of Bardock —> This story has no sense, you cannot travel to the past dying xD
Kimagure Orange☆Road OVA —> Nothing new, there are like new chapters of the same series.
Naruto: Shippuuden —> Good, but ending destroyed everything too.
Ranma ½ OVA —> Same problem with Kigamure Orange Road
Saint Seiya: The Los Canvas 2 —> Same problem with Chihayafuru, not fully adapted
Belladonna of Sadness —> Well done Osamu Tezuka, you give the project script to someone else and that person ruined it. Jeanne's story contradicts her entire message of freedom.
Your Lie in April: Moments —> Cannon but it feels like filler
The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya Season 2 —> Delete good animation and, spoilet, add the protagonist wanted to repeat the anime beach day a bunch of times because she wanted. BORING (Also the sequel Film, spoil you the entire second season so it's not necessary to watch it)
Sword Art Online II —> Please change the novelist. The creator of Kino's Journey did something better in the Reki Kawahara universe XD
Batman: Gotham Knight —> A sequel of Nolan's Universe but the sad thing, those film works well without watching this animated sequel. It feels unnecessary.
Fullmetal Alchemist: The Conqueror of Shamballa —> The film is so good! But there was not enough screen time to develop the villains better, the introduction of Hitler with his first coup d'etat, the expedition the Nazis had with Shamballa, and how it connected to the Full metal Alchemist universe. This was also a space to understand what happened to the homunculos, the parallels with Paracelsus and Edward's father. I think it would have worked better as a longer series, it's a wasted potential. It also sounds a bit cheesy to include Nazis in movies nowadays, but at least seeing it from the protagonist's perspective, where he had to live with the Gypsies because he didn’t belong to that country, made sense narratively and wasn’t just about including Nazis to look cool. It was a setting that helped a lot to show a new side of Edward, where he felt like he didn’t belong in the world. The fear of the unknown was also very appropriate for its century, which was primarily what this series was about; it's very well-timed.
I cannot remember more anime xD
NO WAY Naruto Shippuden made into the list... bro Shippuden is 500 episodes long, only the last 80 or whatever have alien bunnies, everything before it is peak anime
Tbh I can't blame him the ending did suck though
well the ships and the Alien Bunny concept is totally messed up but you can't say "Naruto Shippuden is bad" what about Kazekage rescue? Pain assault? SasukevItachi? And for the most part Fourth Shinobi War is very good as well.

Dang it, I was going to write a long list of bad sequels, but you took most of the anime sequels that I have in that list, darn it
Imo Boruto takes the crown. Good job for being the worst anime sequel to one of the best anime of all time. Well that's just my opinion lol what about everyone's?
