Anyone up for an Indian Game? 1.d4 Nf6, we play White and you play Black?
Well on Strictly Bible we've tried three times to have a Standard 7-day game of vote chess with the open seek system; and your opponent timed out in the first 1-2 moves each time.
(For some reason we haven't had this problem with Fischer Random or custom postions, I dunno why Standard times out so much).
I'm wondering if asking here might work better.

Well on Strictly Bible we've tried three times to have a Standard 7-day game of vote chess with the open seek system; and your opponent timed out in the first 1-2 moves each time.
(For some reason we haven't had this problem with Fischer Random or custom postions, I dunno why Standard times out so much).

I forgot to mention, we have arranged the vote chess game now with the Diamonds club. Based on their history they won't time out - I hope.

Second: We're usually happy to take on some challenges with either color. As long as it's 3-day games and you don't mind encountering some dodgy lines in the opening.

Frequent timeouts are only one of many issues plaguing vote chess. There are numerous fixes that would help, but the website has never shown much interest in improving vote chess. So don't count on it.
Anyone up for a VC game? As open seeks tend to attract clubs that time-out, I prefer finding an opponent here.

We'd love to find a club willing to play the White side of the Italian Petrov (1. e4 e5 2. Bc4 Nf6 3.Nf3 or 1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 Nf6 3.Bc4) but we might accept playing something else if we can't find a taker.
