Chaturaji Endgame Analysis

Every week i will give a position to disscus. Then, before the begining of the new week,(e.g if the position was posted monday, then sunday is before the new week begins) we will play that positon out.

Position for Apr 17-23:

I think I'd rather have red here

Yellow can't promote without red winning 5 points if they cover promotion squares

Yellow could try to sack king for knight to get draw

Yeah red is in a better position

A match will be held on apr 23 between @Bird-Seed, @TimeVeteran, @TheDonutDude, and @SirRM23Divergent. Each player will take on the other three, once as red and once as yellow.

I cannot play for the next 2 weeks since I have to study for exams

don't take that serieously. Sometimes higher rated playes forget with whom they are talking.

As for the game, i don't see a win in the endgame, which may be the consequenses of a misplayed Towtruck.

I mean, I do feel as though two rooks and a bishop ought to be enough to get a knight and pawn, but I just can't work it out.

yellow can always resign and bail out.
