Dutch Defense v. English Opening

I know Ginger GM recommends entering the Dutch with 1 . . . e6 after 1 d4, but does he give the same recommendation against the English?  Because d4 has not been played can't Black play 1 . . . e5 and later play f5 in Reverse Grand Prix fashion?  Also, against 1 Nf3 are there any move order nuances?

My understanding is that he doesn't like dealing with 2. Bg5 after 1. d4 f5. Since white can't play Bg5 immediately after 1. c4 or 1. Nf3, it isn't a problem to go immediately into the Dutch with 1. ... f5 and continue with 2. ... e3.

Thank you for the response.

I also never get the positions I want using The Dutch vs The English.

I have mostly crushed the English with the Dutch unless they try to transpose into QG but even then I have good results with Simon's analysis.

Ok.  Granted my opponent made some mistakes, but he just got Dutched!
