First OTB Tournament in 17 months!!!!!!!!!

Hi guys, today I went to my first otb tournament in a while. It was the Texas July Scholastic Scholarship Chess Tournament and I played in the blitz event 3+2 minutes, and the main event 30 minutes, I was there from 9:00 am-6:00pm, but it was totally worth it. I played @EmeraldNighthawk and @MontanaDrew. And in the end, I
got two huge trophies! Here’s a comparison of my old biggest trophy and today’s trophies.

Congrats! @Wisepinkprince good job on that win against me! I ran out of time but you played good and took advantage of my mistake!

In my opinion, this was another tournament where none of the games I played involved the Giocco Piano Game/Italian Game. The 3 games I was Black, I played the Sicilian. Out of the two games I was White, one game's opening was the Modern Defense and another the French Defense!
