I love the bonus CCC

I think in this Bonus you guys have done everything right. You test the best engines, also the cutting edge ones like Leelafish, and you chose Pohls Drawkiller Opening Book. I think for this occasion that is the perfect choice! I would like to have seen the balanced drawkiller book though, since I like that one the most. But anyways, the drawkiller book is phantastic. Also the time controls for such an event are exactely right.

I think for me that is the most interesting CCC event ever. Also outperforming TCEC

It's cool. But it is a shame that Brainfish debut is in a tournament with made up startpositions... Since the entire point of Brainfish is that it plays openings constructed by SF analysis aka with its own (computer made) opening theory.

Will Brainfish and Leelafish play in CCC9?

They first opened the Bonus with a regular opening book, thats why there is Brainfish. But it was swiftly clear, that this event would drawn in boring draws. Thats why they changed to the drawkiller book afterwoulds. A much better choice.

@AstroHorse7 maybe Leelafish, but Brainfish probably not. Most likely both not
