OK so basically if you want one of the best openings for sub 2000 then learn the Kings gambit. Some reasons:

•You will sometimes win the pawn back with a massive center

•You will get a dominant center

• You will get a massive attack on your opponents King.

• The game is really fun for you happy.png.

• DONT PLAY IF YOU LIKE STUFF LIKE THE LONDON.

• You will have high Win rate.

• You will get it on the board a lot.

I will not Post theory here so look it up on Google (or Firefox or Safari IDK) and YouTube and do yourself a favour and start playing it. happy.png

The King's Gambit is one of the most theory-filled openings that exist; but it makes a good weapon in the beginner-intermediate level if you just learn the critical lines happy.png

Yeah this is the most exciting opening in chess imho.  God its rough at blitz though.  So much going on.

But yeah you can really mess with peoples heads with this opening at lower levels.  Vienna probably 2nd most exciting.

Maybe you could link a video or something that goes over the main lines?

97 percent accuracy!!! 11 moves Vienna Gambit

If you play the Vienna make sure you learn this line because it comes up fairly often.  There are several variations it can stem into but this one was played to perfection.
