Why did he leave? Did something happen IRL or did he lose interest in chess

I have no idea. Before he said he was going to leave because it was taking too much of his time and he was frustrated or somethin'
Cheers to this, really sucks that Viz quit but I hope he can find happiness in something else.

one day the people of the notes were discussing healthcare and politics and stuff like that. so you know how healthcare in america is expensive af? all the families that can no longer afford basic needs because of the expense? well, viz said, and i quote, "why should healthcare be free? it's a service, like (i forgot what exactly he said here, but it was something like...) waiters at a restaraunt". so i called him out on it, and then my calling out was deleted. perhaps the least valid opinion i've ever heard if we discount the fact that antivaxxers exist, and then my calling out was deleted

This very day, July 30th, 2021, our previous leader, @Viznik, ("he") closed his account.
His name shall be remembered by us all, as the meme-creator, the one who introduced the Lemming Defense to a lot of us, and most of all, the creator of this wonderful club, Beginners and Masters.
Some time ago, he told us he was leaving, but to our happiness, decided not to, as said in the forum, "I ain't leaving".
But to our chagrin, earlier this very day, he posted a note saying "Goodbye everybody! It was fun, best of luck to everyone in their chess careers and life! Thanks for the memories!" And even sadder, he said shortly after: "I think I'm done with chess for good too after this" we tried to persuade him to stay. But he left to live his own life, a life with no more chess.com, no more tilting, and most of all, no more Beginners and Masters.
He shall be remembered. Our new team of Super Admins shall manage this club greatly, for Viznik chose well.
And if he ever returns... I'll be the first to say, "Welcome back."
