Interest in Online Tournaments
Main issue will be facilitating and how do you block cheaters, either using software or having someone else play for them. When money is involved, it makes matters more complicated, as there's an incentive.

Yeah, I totally agree with you there, Iceblastor—that's definitely one of the biggest concerns. I think one good way to handle it is requiring players to have their webcams on, and then dealing with any complaints on a case-by-case basis. I still think platforms like Chess.com have solid anti-cheat systems, and hopefully the majority of players will stay honest. Plus, it usually becomes pretty obvious when a 500-rated player is sweeping the tournament. Great point though—definitely something for me to think about. Really appreciate your input!
Hey everyone! I am planning to host weekly online USCF-rated blitz tournaments with time controls similar to tournaments held here. Entry will be around $5–$10, and 70–80% of the pot will go back to players as prizes. Right now, I’m just trying to gauge interest—would you guys like to see prize tournaments like these? Feel free to DM me if you're in!
