Old lessons removed?

3 to 5 weekly lessons for Gold or Platinum???

Um... three weekly lessons for Gold membership? Down from 5 per day? Not sure how this is supposed to be an improvement. 

... and certainly not a return to status quo.

That said, I did notice in a few of my forays into the 'new' lessons that some of them were quite extensive -- with a number of problems in each lesson. So I'm not certain it's an apples-and-oranges thing. But I've never seen any posting/notice explaining the change... If there is something useful out there, would appreciate a link.

I was limited to intermediate before and now I am not....that is an improvement for me.

In our new Lesson format, each lesson has either a video and 5-10 "challenges", or 10+ text challenges. So... you are getting a lot more material per "Lesson". 

...right, I’m beginning to see the difference. I’ll just have to give it a whirl... thanks for your efforts, I know it’s got to be frustrating when you’re trying to do the right thing. 

Ok it seems you’re still working on it b/c I’m still locked out of the advanced lessons...

Looks like the old lessons are or will not be available. Too bad.

I just tried Mastery : Strategy - Pawn Play.
There was no video, and I could only do 3 lessons today.

So, thats a clear change for the worse from before, when I could do 5 lessons.

Am I missing something here?

So let me understand this. The old lessons have been removed for no apparent reason other than they got in a financial dispute with the IM who wrote them and yet the mastery classes that are meant to replace this have not been available on the app for a full year? What exactly are you guys doing with your lives and what are we paying you for? I can play on any app for free.... Incredible incompetence

I want my money back for this month and I want to cancel my subscription Erik, please

Some of the Old Lessons are still shorter, and most of those do not have videos. Frankly, most of that material has been replaced anyway by better quality courses in our New Lessons. I understand this is not a perfect solution for everyone, and I'm sorry. We are trying to make the content available, while also economically feasible. 

What? There aren't even mastery lessons on the darn app no sale.. Money back and out

Are there old lessons? Where? What are you taking about? What does "still" mean.... What kind of nonsense is this? 

Well I upgraded and I like the mastery lessons and think they are very well presented and it's nice to have video that can be played at 1.5x speed. The candidates coverage is a nice touch! I'm sure I'll get used to the new format and hopefully learn something in the process.

Someone said in this post, you were working on it to bring back the old lessons.
Definitely that's  not happening until I've noticed. 
I can see people is not happy with the new changes. I AM NOT.
Honestly I think chess.com wants people to upgrade to Diamond, without giving conditions for other plans. In my opinion Diamond membership price is too much.
The link for the old lessons was there very well placed until you guys decided to remove it without thinking in the costumers. That story about to joint the old lessons in the new ones is perfect... but in reality 3-5 lessons per week is RIDICULOUS.  I will never upgrade for Diamond, nor Gold or Platinum too soon or probably NEVERMORE. You guys are too greedy. 

I seem to have underestimated the problem here.

From my quoted post, it seemed that the value had diluted by 40% (i.e. I could take 5 lessons a day before, now only 3.

However, having tried today to view the next lesson in the series, I see that I can't even do a single lesson - I have to wait another week.

So actually, the value has diluted by 91% (I could do 35 lessons a week before, now only 3).

This explains why Chess.com have been so quiet about this.

Absolutely shameful, in my opinion.

Why ING the world aren't the mastery lessons ING the app????
