The only matchup in which Classic Lava Loon (other variants are different) gets hard countered 0 to 100 is Ice-Bow. Lava Loon has a chance against every other deck and has very good chances against most decks.

That's why it is one of the most solid decks in the game.
There are a ton of new top ladder decks built by pros that have very little air defense, and usually the only decks that counter those decks are Lava decks.

And because it's kinda hard to stop xbow with lava cards
Even Valkyrie isn't super good
Most lava players lava in the back first play
Which means they have three elixir (maybe about 3.5 elixir by the time the xbow player goes xbow opposite lane)
The xbow player can then Knight perfect to get the valk dpsed down and a fireball can then be used to kill skeleton dragons etc.
I just realized that we're talking about ice bow and I switched back to 3.0 lol
forget about the fireball part
ice bow can just use tesla and ice wiz and if they need to nado to defend a lava push

It's just usually weaker than 3.0 because it has trouble with fireball bait, and has a slower cycle

Day 7: I went from 5439-5507! I finally hit 5500. on the next day I will try to get a bit higher. I didn't get to play too much today.
I also got my valk to level 12!

I agree with your tips, but the first tip can be risky.
Tower trading is always good against log bait, but you can't always guarantee that you'll take their tower by sacking yours.
I agree, just be mindful of the inferno tower
